A Midwestern developer plans to build a more than $100 million entertainment and adventure resort in Kingsland, Ga., 40 miles north of Jacksonville.The 574-acre project, proposed by Minneapolis-based Real Development Corp., is expected to create more than 800 jobs for residents of both Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida when it opens in 2014.Located along Interstate-95, the resort’s entertainment district is expected to attract more than 500,000 visits annually.For more on this story read the Sept. 28 issue of the Jacksonville Business Journal.Christian covers banking and finance, insurance, retail and restaurants and law
